Limiters are found on the Advanced Search and Results pages and include:

  • full text

  • peer reviewed

  • scholarly

  • academic research

  • publication date

  • source type

  • language

  • subject

  • document type

Field Limiters are  applied when setting up the search and are used to:
  • target literature reviews

  • find specific author, publication, date

  • limit by author-written abstract

  • for other options

 


CINAHL has special limiters that include: 

  • age
  • gender
  • first author is a nurse
  • a range of others in the biomedical sciences and nursing
