Business Plans and Case Studies

Business Plans in the Virtual Library

A business plan is a document that outlines an organization's goals, methods and time frame for implementation.

Both EBSCOhost and ProQuest Central databases contain business plans and related business content.

To access business plans

  • See if the database has a "business plans" Document Type or format limiter on the advanced search page
  • Search on the phrase "business plan*" to retrieve results that include both "business plans" and "business planning" - the asterisk truncates the word and searches for variant endings
  • Add a subject into the search string with AND e.g. healthcare, or HMO
  • Use the results subject limiters to narrow by topic
