Although these tools have potential drawbacks, it is necessary for students to learn how to navigate a world where tools like ChatGPT are commonplace.

This will also include learning new skills like:

• effectively using language models
• identifying general limitations and failures of the technology
• using multiple sources to verify information
• evaluating sources for accuracy and reliability
• critical thinking
