The Faculty Leadership Network provides a forum for nursing faculty to explore real world issues, pose pedagogy questions, and exchange ideas related to teaching and curriculum in professional nursing education.
The primary purpose of the FLN is to facilitate faculty networking and foster development of its members through webinars, conference sessions, and electronic communications that support the evolution of teaching and learning.
Use of health information technology to augment/support the nursing care process – includes concepts such as safety, care improvement, decision assistance/support, outcome analysis, and data analysis.
Outcomes of several grant-funded research projects sponsored by the US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), including the Advanced Nursing Education, Geriatric Education using a Palliative Care Framework (GEPaC), and the Teaching and Transforming through Technology (T3) projects; and the National Nurse Emergency Preparedness Initiative (NNEPI), sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
